DI Sleet Bot - CREATIVE EDITORIAL LEAD
To promote the range of BBC content, we turned to gifs. We used a well known BBC fictional character, popular with the target audience (16-24yo) and used him in a Messenger Bot to deliver a range of gifs. The concept was to slide in gifs in a native way imitating how our audience would use gifs themselves in conversation, while at the same time entertaining them with DI Sleet’s funny character.
We teamed up with the writers of the show to co-write the script.
